I'm looking for a latch hook to make a rug?
I have a latch hook rug kit somebody gave me that I want to make in the fall. I am also looking into making a small one for my bedroom as soon as possible. The kit I was given came with no hook (and the "giver" checked with the person who bought it and she said the hooks don’t come with the kits. I am having trouble finding them on the web, all I find is a Co. that has all different kinds, very confusing-doesn’t say what each is for. Can anybody help me? I live in the Hartford area of Connecticut, and have to take the bus and can’t walk too far (arthritis in my back.) so buy most things on line. I thought the hooks were all the same or at least there was a "basic" one! I’m at end of my yarn (smile!) Thanks.
Do all guys want the same thing…?
I was at home lying on my bed reading a book when someone rang my bell. I answered the door and saw it was my boyfriend and my best friend, Stacy, and my other best friend, Tony. I let them in and we went back into my bedroom. We were all hanging out talking on the rug when Stacy said she had to leave. She left and i was stuck with my BF and BFF. My boyfriend pulled me closer and said to Tony, i thought Stacy would never leave. He nodded and smiled as he watched us. My boyfriend wrapped me around him and we just started making out with Tony right there. Anyways my boyfriend let me go and pushed me over to Tony. He said I love you Bri, you always kissed so sexy. I laughed and then Tony pulled me over and started kissing me. MY BF Alan stood up and punched him in the mouth. He screamed you pervert get off my girlfriend. Then we kicked Tony out who said as he got kicked out of the house Hey Bri, nice rack and you kiss amazing! Then when me and my BF went back into my room he shut the door and kissed me again. Not a word about Tony or how i was just kissed by another boy. NOTHING about it at all. He reached his hand up my shirt and unhooked my bra and tried to fidget with the hem of my shirt. I told him no, hooked up my bra and kicked him out. That was it. And i am so freaking confused help

Colour missing from Latch Hook Rug Kit 'Snow Wolf'?
I bought a Wonderart Latch Hook Rug Kit called ‘Snow Wolf’. The wool colour key says there are four types of blue; light blue (symbol is a bold L), spec. blue (symbol is a square), medium blue (symbol is a triangle, and dark blue (syombol is a Z). However, I only have three of them, a light, medium and dark, but I don’t know which blue is missing. I tried counting the strands and matching them to how many the pack says there are to determine which colour I don’t have, but all the numbers are wrong. I’m guessing I don’t have light or spec. blue (stands for special??) but can’t be sure. Does anyone have this kit and had the same problem? It’s a christmas gift for a friend and needs to be completed soon.
How Can I organize the room?
I work in a nursery school and was wondering how we could organize to room we have a unit with the kids draws in which has the kids cups of top, then a book cast next to that which is full of book , then a rug its then a rectangle table and then the little home corner, the little home corner has a wooden fridge, cupboard, washing machine, cooker and then the mesh sack of stuff for home corner is in the corner then we have a rack of Animal clothes and the little cot is in the middle of home corner, next the the rack we have a little mirror and then a big shelving unit which has books and toys on then next to that is a little plastic unit with draws of toys and then next to that sat in the corner is a bag of mega blocks. then we have the radiator and where we stack the chairs. next is a sand tray under some hooks where the staff in that room put there fleeces jumpers and the aprons go,big unit with big boxes in to store toys then we have a gap and then the door. we also have a another rectangle table which we push up against the radiator and move the chairs in front of the plastic unit and a circle table.
Help with First Sentence?
I’m doing a poem analysis and I need a hook, or something strong in my first sentence. It’s on "Disappointment" by Jean Hillabold. Also, please rate and give any constructive critism:):)
here’s the poem:
I waited for you
Until the avocados on my table
Turned to dust;
Until my curtains faded
From the heat of my stare;
And m,y feet wore down the carpet
And thte wood under it;
Until my plants all died
And the cat ran away
To find a normal life;
Until my alarm clock exploded
And my fingernails became long knives;
Until the snow piled up to my third-floor windows.
I want you to know
That I moved to a better location
Where time trots faster.
I have a new Persian rug
And some healthy philodrendrons
That complement my color scheme.
The members of my Tues-night group
Are so witty
That I’m collecting their bon mots
With some of my sketches and photographs
For a book to be published in time for Christmas.
Do look for it.
My phone number is unlisted.
I don’t give out my address
To just anyone,
And I’m rarely home.
If you tried to contact me, I wouldn’t know it
If you pounded on my door,
Sobbing my name,
The neighbors wouldn’t recognize youAnd would call the police
You could have sent a letter to my old address,
Saying "sorry, " and "please," and "let me know,"
But i never reached me.
If I still cry sometimes;
If I still wear the necklace you gave me
In the hope of absorbing your strength,
The better to fight you
And to break hearts,
You never ask.
Your silence coats my walls
Like ice on rock.
Here’s my analysis:
first sentence. [first sentence. ]“Disappointment” by Jean Hillabold perfectly describes the emotions when overcoming a relationship. The speaker begins by stating he/she waited, waited until “avocados…turn[ed] to dust…plants all died And snow piled up the [their] third floor window.” The various hyperboles stress how long and desperate the speaker wanted his/her (ex-) love to return. After waiting, time goes on and the speaker states that he/she moved on with “I want you to know That I moved to a better location.” The speaker is just passing time in his/her life after the relationship where there is no spark anymore, the speaker gets excited over “a new Persian rug…[and his/her ‘witty’] Tuesday-night group.” Then the speaker goes further, first talking about a soon to be published book and later on reveals the speaker wants his/her (ex-) lover to look for them by stating “Do look for it.” The speaker tells his/her (ex-) lover to look for him/her but the next lines are “My phone numbers is unlisted. …And I’m rarely home.” They are excuses in case the speaker doesn’t hear from his/her (ex-) lover. The speaker also wants to see his/her (ex-) lover breaking into tears, “pound[ing] on [the speaker’s] door, Sobbing [his/her] name”, torn apart without his/her lover (the speaker) instead of him/herself. Near the end, the truth about how the speaker feels peak through, the ifs of “If I still cry sometimes If I still wear the necklace you gave me…” are just the speaker’s way of saying what he/she does because he/she still hurts and cries for his/her (ex-) lover. Finally, the last line the speaker states how cold and heartless his/her ex-lover was with a metaphor, “Your silence coats my walls Like ice on rock.” Jean Hillabold’s “Disappointment” goes through the phases and feelings of overcoming a past relationship.
Sorry about all the words :/

What is this funny little tool I found?
I was looking through my closet and found a funny little craft tool. It’s something like a small metal crochet hook, but with a clasp that swings open and closed without latching. I don’t know if it’s just a crochet hook, but I found a large plastic half-finished gridded rug pattern that it goes to that I want to finish. You take small pieces of yarn and somehow fasten them to the squares to make a fuzzy rug. If anyone has any idea what this is, and how to use it, leave a link saying how to use it orrr if you want you can describe how to use it here! Thanks!
